ATD Tulsa Board Adopts Cultures of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Statement from ATD President and CEO Tony Bingham
In reaffirming the ATD Code of Ethics and the Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunities provisions within the ATD Tulsa Chapter Bylaws, we adopt and support the following statement issued by ATD President and CEO Tony Bingham on June 2, 2020:
"Injustice, inequality, and racism, in every form, are reprehensible. If we want to create a world that truly works better we must do the hard work of building cultures, communities, and workforces that are equitable, where diversity and inclusion are not buzzwords, but ingrained in the fabric of who we are and how we live and work. As we help our communities and workplaces, we must address the systemic inequality and injustice facing members of our society.
The ATD community is global and inclusive. The work that our members do day in and day out is focused on learning, unleashing human potential, and creating opportunity for others. Today, that work takes on new meaning, new relevance, and new impact.
We are committed to helping build cultures of diversity, equality, and inclusion. Listening to each other with empathy, learning, and understanding will help us work together to create a path forward for our communities and workplaces."
